The investment project named ““Complesso turistico-residenziale con centro benessere e SPA – Limen Wellness Hotel”,” located within the residential complex “Mareluna Village” lot “M” placed in Contrada Pistavecchia in the municipality of Campofelice di Roccella, has been funded by the P.O. ERDF Sicily 2014/2020, Axis 3, Specific Objective 3.1, Action 3.1.1.02a “Aid for investments in machinery, plants,
intangible assets, and support for business reorganization and restructuring processes.” The project involved the construction of a new accommodation facility with a wellness center, spread over an area of approximately 3,000 square meters. The hotel is organized around a courtyard where the main activities of the hotel take place: it features a large garden with tropical/mediterranean plants, an outdoor
breakfast area, a solarium, and an outdoor swimming pool. The structure, which spans two levels, consists of a total of 23 rooms intended for hotel use, 20 of which occupy the entire first floor and 3 are located on the ground floor. On the ground floor, there is also the hall with the reception and bar area, the kitchen, the breakfast/restaurant room, the wellness center, and the aforementioned 3 rooms. The wellness center, which represents the main attraction of the accommodation facility, covers an area of about 600 square meters and includes a large indoor thermal pool, a hammam, a sauna, an ice room, a sensory shower, two private couple’s spas, 3 massage rooms, and a beauty cabin. Access to the structure is directly from the SS. 113 Palermo-Messina highway, through an internal access road; in addition, a large parking area with electric charging stations has been created in front of the lot to complete the facility.

In summary:

• Purpose: Promote entrepreneurship, particularly by facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas and encouraging the creation of new businesses, also through business incubators;
• Project activities: Construction of masonry works, general and production systems for the creation of spaces and premises designated for interventions, as well as the acquisition and implementation of equipment, green works, and similar, to complete the facilities in the various functional areas intended for hotel services.
• Results: Creation and expansion of advanced capacities for the development of products and services, alongside an improvement in the quality of the tourism-accommodation offer and complementary services, enhancing competitiveness and promoting the value of the local area.

The intervention was carried out with the contribution of resources from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Italian state, and the Sicilian Region, for a grant amount of €1,112,230.80.
